Album "Danielf"
(2004) -
the first Igor Zavadsky's disk recorded during a concert. The recording was made on the 20th of January, the birthday of the performer, in the Kyiv Central House of Officers of Military Forces of Ukraine. The album includes seven compositions performed by Igor Zavadsky for the first time, new versions and arrangements of the best compositions from previous concert programs. Unlike in the disk "Angel Trills", where Vivaldi Concertos are accompanied by the Kyiv chamber orchestra "ARCHI", in "Danielf" these compositions and Bach's Concerto are accompanied by the chamber orchestra of the Poltava Region State Philharmonic Society.
Igor Zavadsky has visited three continents at a time with a concert tour in summer of 2003: America, Asia and Europe. A trip to Iceland inspired him to find a title for the new album. People of this mysterious country still believe in fairy elves. "Danielf" is a good elf called Daniel. Restless nature of Danielf is reflected in tarantella-fantasia composed on the basis of folk music of Spain, Italy and Greece.
