"This album is unique because Antonio Vivaldi’s famed "The Four Seasons" concerto cycle is represented entirely through an unusual combination of accordion solo with the organ (in "Spring" and "Autumn") and the chamber orchestra (in "Summer" and "Winter").

The year of creation of this musical masterpiece remains disputable. 2019, 2020, 2023 or 2025 (according to different estimates) is the year when "The Four Seasons" will be 300 years old!

This concerto cycle symbolizes not only the change of the seasons but also different human age: spring is about childhood, summer is about youth, autumn represents adulthood, and winter represents old age.

A.Vivaldi (1678-1741) was born in Venice in spring, on March 4. His concerto "Spring" (as well as "Autumn") was written in major. He died in Vienna, away from his homeland, in summer, on July 28. It may be not accidental that the great composer wrote the concerto "Summer" (as well as "Winter") in minor.

"Seasons" is the second album in succession containing only classical music arranged by me for the button accordion.

Seasons of the year are so colorful. The disks of each of my albums have also different colors: 1 - green, 2 - blue, 3 - brown, 4 - red, 5 - orange, 6 - yellow, 7 - light-blue, 8 - white, 9 - violet, 10 - black, 11 - scarlet, 12 - purple, 13 - light-green and 14 - multicolored..."
